An Unusually Warm Day in December

I had so much fun with this family!  Many of you can attest to the fact that it's hard to avoid the fake smile some of our kids have.  This shoot was another good example, that after careful work with your children, I can capture those real smiles.  In the end, mom (who sought me out after viewing pictures I did for her brother-in-law's family) has paid me some of the best compliments I've had.  ;)  Thank you.

Sisters

These girls were a hoot during their mini-session.  Mom really only wanted ONE good picture of the three of them so we took a bunch and she purchased only the pictures she needed.  This is an option for anyone!  Of course being who I am I threw in a few more.  :)

5 year photos

I never thought I would branch out of natural light photography, but my love for all photography has taken over.  A flash isn't so bad, right?  I couldn't bare the thought of weather keeping me from taking portraits and I liked the idea of having a studio in my basement (which does have a fair amount of natural light)!  Here are some of my first studio photos.
