As I've said before, I think family gatherings are WONDERFUL opportunities to hire a photographer! What a great way to get photos of your family, and then images of all your relatives with you too! Because I like taking candid photos, and working with children and families, these events are especially fun for me. Not to mention, this family has always been amazing to work with. They are very "go with the flow" when I'm with them. Their relatives were the same way at this party. I never felt like that awkward photographer lurking in the corners. I just enjoyed watching everyone interact... the youngest was the star of the show, but you know how it goes... somehow they both were!
