Getting to Know Me

I know that mom is my friend, but that is not the only reason I love working with this family.  First and foremost, mom and dad are always generally excited to have their pictures taken as a family.  I love my clients who truly LOVE family photos and photography in general.  Second of all, I really believe, like many of my clients, that these kids have gotten to know me as the one behind the lens.  Even children I only see a few times a year at most for photos, are always a better with the whole experience than the time before.  Some of this is maturation, but some of this is definitely because they remember who I am and what we do together!

We were all done, but I'm so glad I snapped these last three.  Oh happy Fall!

Charmers

It is not super common that I find a family with children that see a stranger with a camera and decide to "perform" up a storm!  These girls LOVED having their pictures taken.  (I can almost hear some of you groaning because your kids are the complete opposite).  Either way, I love working with all kids, but I must say, these girl turned on the charm like no other.  Their little brother did a great job and he's well on his way to becoming a charmer too!  The parents let me dictate where to go and what to do and let the kids play around while I got the shots I like to get.  Personally, I think we made a good team.  ;)

Once again, it was too hard to narrow things down for this family and there are a lot more pictures that mom and dad should look forward to seeing that aren't even here!
