About Me

My photo

Meredith (Saad) Loughmiller was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She went to Indiana University where she majored in Elementary Education and took a series of fine arts and photography courses. After graduating, Meredith taught in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years. After 9 years in the Windy City she moved to Carmel, Indiana to settle down with her young family. Following a few years as a stay-at-home mom, Meredith embarked on something for herself utilizing many skills and talents that sat dormant for too long! Lo and behold: ml photography. Although Meredith continues to enjoy staying home with her three children, ML Photography has been a successful endeavor for four years now!

Combo Post

In an attempt to speed up my editing process for all you lovely clients, I'm going to blog just a few of my favorites from multiple sessions at a time!  This will also help "save" some of those special Christmas card shots as a suprise for your friends and family.

This first family braved the cold temps on this particular afternoon!  We started at Coxhall Gardens and then ended up back at their house.  You gotta do what you gotta do!  Always a pleasure with them!

This next family bid on my donation to the Cherry Tree Elementary, Cherry Blossom Festival's silent auction!  They were wonderful!!

This next family was literally the second family I photographed at the start of my little business (and they continue to be great clients).

I probably shouldn't have posted this one, but I just couldn't help myself.

I just love this one and the next...  such a CUTE couple.
The headband in mom's hand is just precious to me.

Fun at West Park

This family was one of my FIRST clients.  It's always so good to see them again.  I think they know they how special they are to me!  If not, now they do!

I'm so grateful for clients that appreciate candids as much as I do.

Yes, this boy is for real.  Second year in a row he's "posed" on his own for his photos.

I like this because it reminds of the back of blue truck shot I took of them two years ago.

feeding the ducks!

This is how I see these guys... wrestling, yet hugging... all in one!

Absolutely as adorable and handsome as big brother, just gotta snap his pics on the fly!

Double Trouble

These girls were amazing until all of a sudden they realized they were freezing!  If JT (my husband) hadn't had to spend the first 7 months of our married life together, working in Scottsdale, we'd never have known this wonderful family!  Life IS interesting.

When I think of a mother of twins... THIS IS ALWAYS how I envision them!!  I asked her to do this :)

Comforting them from the cold!  Made for the kind of shot that I like.

Motherly Love

I hadn't been to this location in awhile.  It always helps me as a photographer when I'm "fresh" somewhere.  I've noticed I'm much more enthusiastic about the session which makes for great photos.  That has to be why I'm constantly seeking out new places.

Mom and her girls COULD NOT have been more pleasant to work with!

I must say it was hard to narrow down this session for posting.
