About Me

My photo
Carmel, Indiana, United States
Meredith (Saad) Loughmiller was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She went to Indiana University where she majored in Elementary Education and took a series of fine arts and photography courses. After graduating, Meredith taught in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years. After 9 years in the Windy City she moved to Carmel, Indiana to settle down with her young family. Following a few years as a stay-at-home mom, Meredith embarked on something for herself utilizing many skills and talents that sat dormant for too long! Lo and behold: ml photography. Although Meredith continues to enjoy staying home with her three children, ML Photography has been a successful endeavor for four years now!

Makes Me Want a Twin!

Seeing these little ladies about 6 months after I first met them was so enjoyable.  Their personalities are blooming.  I can't imagine having a twin... but I just love how all my favorite photos are from when they were together.

Happy children!

It's About Time

If the internet allows it... this will be about to be the largest blog post I've ever written (or rather loaded with photos).  This past Fall was wonderful.  I can't tell you how much I enjoyed each and every one of these sessions.  I was up until 1 or 2am editing on occasion, waking up at night still with my youngest, squeezing in runs at 6:30am, busy with my kids all day, and then hitting the computer at night again (and you all know I edit slowly and painstakingly with my level of perfection... although it might not show).  That being said, in December when I was done editing, I CRASHED.  I focused on hosting Christmas and put my heart and soul into my family for one month... still with a few sessions to work with here and there.  Now, that doesn't mean I wasn't happy when I was that busy.  On the contrary, I was the happiest I could possibly be.  That's what photography does for me.  However, in January, I REALLY CRASHED.  I took a break.  A break so big that I never posted all these wonderful families on my blog or on FB.  However, I needed it and now I am soooooooo refreshed and ready to start snapping away Spring sessions.  Let this post just be nostalgic and yet get everyone excited for their Spring sessions.  I strongly believe your mind and body (and God) tells you what you need, and sometimes you just listen and hope that it'll all work out in the long run.

In no particular order... here are my favorites...  If you click on the photos, you can scroll through like a slide show and see them all larger.  Thank you for viewing :)

Mom's face says so much here... I had to post this one!
