About Me

My photo
Carmel, Indiana, United States
Meredith (Saad) Loughmiller was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She went to Indiana University where she majored in Elementary Education and took a series of fine arts and photography courses. After graduating, Meredith taught in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years. After 9 years in the Windy City she moved to Carmel, Indiana to settle down with her young family. Following a few years as a stay-at-home mom, Meredith embarked on something for herself utilizing many skills and talents that sat dormant for too long! Lo and behold: ml photography. Although Meredith continues to enjoy staying home with her three children, ML Photography has been a successful endeavor for four years now!

Full Hands = Full Heart

I was happy to make it Jasper and be able to take these pictures for one of my BFF's.  FOUR children!  They handle them all so well and make four kids look glorious, but remind many of us that we shouldn't complain about our hands being full! ;)
UGH... I miss them all already!!!!  Bring some chaos to Indy and come visit will ya!?

LOOK who's ONE!!!!
Sometimes it's SOOOOO cute when they DON'T do exactly what you want!

Dad is so great at getting these kids to crack up.  He worked hard for me!
The busy busy mom... beautiful inside and out.

Don't worry... I ended up removing the spot on his shirt after I saw this here!

These were a disaster because these kids were so done... with a few head swaps I managed to get this... works for me!
popcicles to cool off at the end

The Little Buckeye is Back!

I will never forget this baby's newborn session clad with a OSU blanket and football helmet.  Here he is among the tall grasses in the evening at Cool Creek Park in Carmel.  Already 3 months old!  I love all his different expressions from his grin, to his serious face, to his big smiles.

My favorite... so I'm sharing in both B&W and color

He's a Superstar

I can't even begin to express how much this little man worked the camera.  He owned it!  He liked me, he liked the camera, and the camera and I liked him ;)  Take notes too... how adorable were mom's outfits for him?!

This awesome family had to wait almost five weeks for her photos so I spoiled them with some "antique" developed ones in addition to b&w and color.*

The adoring grandparents came along for the ride.

Somebody got a kiss from momma

*I'm a full time mother of three... I find that I can only get editing done after the kids go to bed during the week.  Weekends are pretty full as well as my weekdays.  Some nights I crash without working or get out with friends and miss my chance to work.  When I do work, I work hard (and yes I am SLOW.. I can spend a lot of time on one single image).  I've never turned down a client before either because I'm a little backed up with life and sessions.  I like to think I'm worth the wait and that I try my best to make it up to you because you have to wait longer than you want to for your pictures!  I keep telling myself... SOMEDAY it will all be worth it when I can really dive in and be more professional and productive with this job I love.
