Meredith (Saad) Loughmiller was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She went to Indiana University where she majored in Elementary Education and took a series of fine arts and photography courses. After graduating, Meredith taught in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years. After 9 years in the Windy City she moved to Carmel, Indiana to settle down with her young family. Following a few years as a stay-at-home mom, Meredith embarked on something for herself utilizing many skills and talents that sat dormant for too long! Lo and behold: ml photography. Although Meredith continues to enjoy staying home with her three children, ML Photography has been a successful endeavor for four years now!

Two for One

Blogging about two beautiful babies I shot this month.

This first little guy was back again for his nine month session.  I still call him the "little buckeye" so I was happy to see him sporting some Ohio State things once again.  His parents are so wonderful to work with!  Helps get us great pictures every time!  He's a CUTIE.

This next session was for a precious newborn.  I don't think I can use the word "newborn" with out using the word precious.  I can still hear mom's voice the morning of this session "They are only little for so long..."  It's so true.  You don't appreciate newborns until after you've already let the first newborn stage you've had fly by.  You appreciate this phase so much more with each child.  Here is the third beautiful girl addition to this awesome family.

It's Been Awhile/My Baby Turns Two

I'm way overdue for a blog post.

This past Fall was unbelievable.  I shared a lot of sneak peaks of sessions on Facebook, but did not share every session.  I couldn't take the time to blog and lose precious time getting people their photos back.  With the photos that were shared on Facebook I did hold back a lot of great ones that I will compile and probably use to update my website which is currently being revamped.

You were all so incredible to me.  I'm so grateful for the opportunity to photograph your families and be able to document precious times in your lives.  I wrapped up the bulk of that busy season just in time for the Holidays.  As it came to an end I welcomed January with open arms.  Who knew I could grow to love, prior to a few years ago, my least favorite months?!  I feel like I'm really present for my family as we ring in the new year.   Of course I still can't turn off the artistic side, but it's nice to do a few projects that I don't get to when I'm busy editing.  Right about now I'm missing my sessions and the calls are starting to roll in again.  Perfect timing.

My third baby was born at the perfect time for me.  I will always remember that!  It's not just the age difference between #2 and #3 that helped me enjoy him, but also the time of year that he was born! Every year I think it's going to be fun for me to plan his birthday because all around it's a slow time of year.  Lucky kid.

Here are few pictures from this truly sports obsessed little boy.  I gave him a few of his birthday gifts early to help him get pumped for his session.  It worked out perfectly.  We aren't brain washing either, he's already IU obsessed so we just went with it.  My claim to fame is capturing personalities anyway right?!

He starting throwing a tantrum after I took his ball away, but I just went with it.
(insert crying laughing emoji here)

He thinks I'm REALLY funny
