About Me

My photo
Carmel, Indiana, United States
Meredith (Saad) Loughmiller was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She went to Indiana University where she majored in Elementary Education and took a series of fine arts and photography courses. After graduating, Meredith taught in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years. After 9 years in the Windy City she moved to Carmel, Indiana to settle down with her young family. Following a few years as a stay-at-home mom, Meredith embarked on something for herself utilizing many skills and talents that sat dormant for too long! Lo and behold: ml photography. Although Meredith continues to enjoy staying home with her three children, ML Photography has been a successful endeavor for four years now!

Spring Soccer 2016

The perks of being on MY daughter's soccer team ;)  This was fun and I would 100% do team pics for people again.  I hand edited all of the pictures and I like how the poses are more natural and not all the exact same for each girl.

Prince Charming

This is the babe in a family with three boys, who for the past few years I viewed as constantly keeping up with the big kids... and now he pretty much is one (insert tear).  Right now FOUR is when you cross over into "big kid" range in our hood.  ;)  They grow up so fast.  This kid will pull at your heartstrings with his grin and you won't even seeing it coming until you realize you just want to borrow him for a bit and then return him home later.  You'll see he just kept "posing" and took full advantage of being the star.  He's just charming... period.

Probably one of my favorite in both color and black & white.. I remember him chuckling.

Engagement Sessions

I really enjoy doing engagement/couples sessions!  Spread the word!!!  I'd love to do more.

This one couldn't have been better.  My dear friend here is getting married this October.  Side note:  This was the FIRST time I met her fiance!  What better way to get to know him and their relationship than to photograph them together.  I'm a fan.  Thank goodness. :)

When she asked me which pictures were my favorite, I thought what better way to show her than with a blog post.

Here goes....

I like this initial high five action... so telling of their future... it's like "We've got this."  That comes in handy for parenting too!

Lots of kisses... I'm glad I made them... much to their discretion (at first ;).
I wouldn't normally, but you can do that with good friends and I like all of these shots.

I loved the raised eyebrows below.
If you know Kelly... this IS PERFECT (insert crying laughing emoji here)

my #1 favorite

STUD... and Kelly is cracking up

Goofing around

another favorite

The coke bottle ones were a reenactment of pictures Kelly has of her grandparents.
Loved the idea.
