About Me

Carmel, Indiana, United States
Meredith (Saad) Loughmiller was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She went to Indiana University where she majored in Elementary Education and took a series of fine arts and photography courses. After graduating, Meredith taught in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years. After 9 years in the Windy City she moved to Carmel, Indiana to settle down with her young family. Following a few years as a stay-at-home mom, Meredith embarked on something for herself utilizing many skills and talents that sat dormant for too long! Lo and behold: ml photography. Although Meredith continues to enjoy staying home with her three children, ML Photography has been a successful endeavor for four years now!

18 Month Smiles

I just couldn't get enough of this little girl's pictures.  I hope she makes you smile when you look at these too!  Dipples… cheeks… button nose… What more could you ask for?

Dad gets the credit for helping her perform for me.  He did an awesome job!

She warmed up for me with a rock in her hand… it was worth it.

Abroad

I hope this family doesn't roll their eyes at me mentioning the novelty of them, but I can't help myself.  They are here temporarily from England!  Just imagine having a conversation with these kids!  The only sad thing for me about them staying, is the thought of the kids losing their accent!  I know their family and friends abroad must be missing them terribly.  It's impossible not to like this fantastic four.  Impossible.

Sometimes when you try to make the kids laugh, they do the same thing right back… cracks me up!!!

SOMETIMES when they say "CHEEEESE" it's still cute.

A Nature Hike

This family loves their candids and so do I!  After the first 15 minutes there's really no use trying to get the kiddos to stop and pose anyhow.  It worked out well that we just went on a nature hike at Cool Creek Park.  Sometimes it can take longer than a location with only a few choice spots, but if you and your children are active people, and you want the session to be an adventure in itself, it is so worth it.  The personalities of these children really shine through in these.

Note to parents: Take your cameras with you on nature hikes and get some great photos of them!

This photograph is entitled "TEASING" ...and I love it.
