About Me

My photo
Carmel, Indiana, United States
Meredith (Saad) Loughmiller was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She went to Indiana University where she majored in Elementary Education and took a series of fine arts and photography courses. After graduating, Meredith taught in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years. After 9 years in the Windy City she moved to Carmel, Indiana to settle down with her young family. Following a few years as a stay-at-home mom, Meredith embarked on something for herself utilizing many skills and talents that sat dormant for too long! Lo and behold: ml photography. Although Meredith continues to enjoy staying home with her three children, ML Photography has been a successful endeavor for four years now!

The Real Deal

You might be fooled when looking at these pictures thinking everything went perfectly and the kids were amazingly cooperative.  What all families need to know, is that NO ONE has a seamless session!!  We are working with young kids for crying out loud!!!  With that being said, that is why you hire a photographer who knows what they're doing.  It's our job to get you good pictures of you and your kids no matter what the situation.  Kids are kids and they will behave like kids.  If it makes you feel any better, I have seen A LOT and NOTHING surprises me or seems the least bit unusual!  With that being said, don't think I'm discounting you as the parent(s).  In this session, the youngest was definitely not feeling well and her brothers might have been a little "over it" at times, but in the end all I see is another family full of fun with lots of great emotions!  You are all amazing with the effort you put forth and the parents here worked very hard too!

Setting the example right from the beginning as the oldest tends to do...
so the middle child says, "I can do that too!"

I couldn't decide between B&W and Color... but these shots might have been my favorite.

One goal was to get this cuties 18 month pics.
