About Me

My photo
Carmel, Indiana, United States
Meredith (Saad) Loughmiller was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She went to Indiana University where she majored in Elementary Education and took a series of fine arts and photography courses. After graduating, Meredith taught in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years. After 9 years in the Windy City she moved to Carmel, Indiana to settle down with her young family. Following a few years as a stay-at-home mom, Meredith embarked on something for herself utilizing many skills and talents that sat dormant for too long! Lo and behold: ml photography. Although Meredith continues to enjoy staying home with her three children, ML Photography has been a successful endeavor for four years now!

Entertaining

This family simply had fun.  I remember a lot of running around, being silly, and laughing.  They are another family who loves their candids!

We didn't know each other beforehand, other than exchanging emails over the past year related to my session that they bid on in a silent auction, but shortly after meeting them they were anything but strangers.  What a warm, welcoming, sweet, and energetic family.  It was my pleasure.

This lets you know we were at Coxhall Gardens!

She loves to pose!

I distinctly remember her saying, "Awe!  He's holding my hand."

This is my personal favorite family shot because it's how I'll remember them… personalities and all.

Keeping Warm

I don't normally have people in their coats and such for photos, but I like how their outfits worked here (obviously love the little girls hat)!  It was very chilly out so everyone was able keep warm and happy.  The photos ended up looking natural and seasonal just the same!

It's been fun this season working with so many new families!  Here's a sample of my favorites from this beautiful new family.

Cooperative AND Patient!

These boys were very chill for little boys and happy as can be!  I'd like to know mom and dad's secrets!!  It was a pleasant and fun session to say the least.  Furthermore, this session was my second to last weekend of the busy season and I have to say this family was as patient waiting for their pictures as they were cooperative.  I can't thank them enough.

Hard to believe this is just a park in Carmel, IN

Sweetheart

This serious face is actually uncharacteristic of this little man!

My favorite of him!

Both my favorites of him!

I would love a picture like this of my babies!
